I have been to a few ‘Table Table’ based on this one at Southend on Sea, but none are as good as this one. Generally, when you find a chain restaurant, they are about the same wherever you go, but this one is particularly good. The staff are really friendly and cannot do enough to help. The seating is comfortable and you have the choice of the cosy bar area or various restaurant areas, so there is seating to suit everyone. The two for £10 offer is just great, and the food does not show the price, as it is good quality and well cooked. I have had a few dishes in this pub restaurant, and they are consistent.
The only issue I have is that they don’t do the ‘Casillero Viognier’ anymore which is a shame as this is a quality wine and was such good value. However, there is a good wine list at great prices. Due to the type of restaurant, they do get busy at 6 to 7 pm, as they cater well for families, but we have not had much problem getting our favourite corner sofa in the bar.

Update in November 2010 – we recently went back here and found it has slipped as the food was awful – we had a very long wait for cold food which should have been hot!
