I have been to many restaurants in the Essex area and beyond, and I decided to put a few of my reviews on this site - over 100 so far! Since they have proven to be very useful to my site visitors, I am now adding the other Essex Restaurants that I have dined in.
My background in Hotel, catering and restaurants means that I am fully equipped with the knowledge of what to expect in this industry, from customer service to exquisite cuisine. This, teamed with extensive World travel, with living in Japan, Thailand and Australia, at various times, has given me the tasting knowledge of what to expect in these Countries. Together with much of Europe (the best Italian pizza’s to the best Spanish tapas) and South East Asia, including Malaysia, I have been lucky enough to taste some of the best foods in the World.
My personal favourites are Indian cuisine, Thai and British classics, but I enjoy just about any food, and my passion for having the right wine with food choices means that I have tried many of those too!
All the reviews you read are written by me and are my experience of my breakfast, lunch or dinner taken at each venue on the day(s) of the visit. Of course, it does not mean that your experience will be exactly the same, as staff/chefs/menus can change at anytime, but I hope that they will at least give you an insight.
Coming shortly to this page will be my lists of my favourite restaurants for each restaurant categoryor area ie Best Indian, Best Italian, Best Bistro, Best sunday lunch in Southend area etc. These will really be the top restaurant choices, so watch this space…
